| This network meeting is for geography subject leaders, or their representatives, in primary, middle or special schools. |

| to support participants in leading and managing primary geography through exploration of current developments in geographical education nationally and locally. |
| |
| to receive and consider the implications of the proposals for the new primary curriculum (subject to parliamentary approval) and in particular for the new Historical, Geographical and Social area of learning;
to consider how geography can support and contribute to the DCSF's target for every school to become a Sustainable School by 2020;
to be updated about other local and national developments and resources for geography. |

| There will be tutor led information and guidance, small group and paired discussions and an opportunity for networking with colleagues. |

| Primary geography networks are held in various locations around the county, some are held during the afternoon and others as twilights. Please attend the one most convenient for you! |
