| This is a networking opportunity, which will allow you to keep in regular touch with colleagues following the Edexcel A level specification. This session will include feedback on the January exams and on helping students maximize their achievement in the summer exams. | ||||||||||

| Practical advice on extended writing at AS Level - practice marking using exemplar student work; Learning from the Jan 2010 Unit 3 Contested planet exams - practice marking using exemplar student work; A chance to consider the pre-release materials for Units 3 and 4; The 'perfect' Unit 4 report - unlocking the generic mark scheme. | ||||||||||
| Outline of learning methods | ||||||||||
| There will be tutor input and small group discussions. Plentiful resources will be provided in paper based and electronic format. | ||||||||||

| The network meeting is is available to all teachers of Edexcel A level Geography. As well as Staffordshire schools teachers from the Midlands and North West also regularly attend. | ||||||||||

| Cameron Dunn, Chief Examiner for the Edexcel A level and Sue Warn, MBE. Both are very experienced examiners, very effective advisers on improving standards at A level geography and excellent speakers. | ||||||||||
