| This is a series of half day sessions for NQTs teaching geography in Staffordshire secondary and middle schools as is offered as part of the NQT support package. There will be half a day per term over the academic year 2009 - 2010. |

| to network secondary geography teachers in their first year of teaching;
to share ideas and resources for teaching geography for mutual benefit;
to discuss progress during the induction year and provide support for professional development; |

| to review progress to date;
to discuss any issues and areas of concern;
to seek opportunities and areas of development;
to share ideas and resources for teaching geography. |

| There will be a mix of tutor input and support and group discussions with opportunities to have a go at some practical activities. |
| |
| The reduced cost of this session is available to those schools who have subscribed to the support package of support for NQTs. Teachers from other schools may attend at a half day rate.
A further meeting will be held in the Spring Term. |
